Since 2007, Community Arts Resources has produced The California Endowment’s Center for Healthy Communities’ Healthy Neighborhood Festival (HNF). Set in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, HNF welcomes kids of all ages, their friends and families to its annual festival, which celebrates healthy lifestyles and inspires kids to get excited about being fit. The community event features interactive multi-cultural performances and workshops, hula-hooping, tumbling, martial arts, taiko drumming, dance theatre, and much more by many of the city’s leading artists and performers. The 2010 Healthy Neighborhood Festival took place on Saturday, October 23rd.
