In December of 2010, Community Arts Resources was proud to assist the Downtown Women’s Center in the culmination and public revealing of its Project Home. Project Home was a celebration of the community that helped to build the Center’s new home – a much-needed haven for women on Skid Row and an asset to the greater Los Angeles community.

Community Arts Resources worked closely with the Center to produce this three-day celebration, including an invite-only designer’s showcase, a donor’s gala, and an open house, which featured guided tours, music, performance pieces highlighting the women of the Center, craft activities led by local artists, and delicious seasonal snacks.
